Meadow Creek Golf Club

Designed by primary owner Jeffrey Brem, Meadow Creek Golf Club in Dracut, Ma., only 26 miles from Boston, opened in 2007 to rave reviews. Brem designed a course that is approachable for all levels of golfer, from accomplished players to seniors, juniors, and women. Indeed, the course was designed specifically to allow for a competitive game for all, with four sets of tees at every hole and a variety of available tee and pin placements.

Brem is a registered professional civil engineer and has worked on several recreational and golf projects, including Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, Ma., Butter Brook Golf Club in Westford, Ma., Vesper Country Club in Tyngsborough, Ma., and many others.
His overall golf design style is mirrored after Dr. Alister MacKenzie of Augusta National and Cypress Point fame, utilizing the concept of camouflage, especially from the tee, and providing natural looking, undulating fairways, careful and proper use of hazards, and strategic approaches to each.

Meadow Creek is not a long course, just 6,501 yards from the tips. But it must be approached with a game plan, as each hole has its own set of dangers. Proper club selection and wise placement of the ball off the tee are musts to score well here. The slope from the tips is 131 and the course rating is 72.7, which gives you an indication of the subtle difficulty and challenge you will find at Meadow Creek.

This premier daily fee golf course also offers the Tempo restaurant, which allows casually elegant dining, outdoor terrace dining, or “Gallery” dining overlooking the course.
