The newly renovated restaurant formally known as the Riverview has much to offer those looking to enjoy some of the greatest seafood dishes available with the atmosphere to back them up. View still offers panoramic views of the Connetquot River and Great South
Bay with much expansion and new innovations.
The original Riverview restaurant took over the space that once was William K. Vanderbilt’s “Tea House.” Now, in what was the entire Riverview restaurant exists the Tea Room, which is the more intimate and cozy part of View. This room offers a raw sushi bar, fireplaces and artwork.
The main dining room offers nautical elements such as an antique wooden boat and luxurious items such as leather chairs and mahogany tables. Beyond the main dining room lies the Grill Room offering an upbeat bar scene leading to an outdoor patio where Dockside dining allows guests to dock their boats and have a meal or drinks.
The menu created by Executive Chef William Muzio, incorporates new dishes with old Riverview favorites such as blackened shrimp cobb salad, sea scallop carpaccio and bread crusted red snapper. The meals at View are of the highest quality without the upscale prices.
