Sandals Emerald Bay Golf Resort & Spa, Great Exuma, Bahamas
When you talk first class, top shelf, all-inclusive, sheer luxury and fun, you’re talking Sandals Emerald Bay Golf Resort and Spa, Great Exuma, Bahamas.

The 500-acre luxury resort features seven restaurants, an 18-hole Greg Norman-designed championship golf course, a full-service marina, and 245 beachfront villas and suites. A sprawling island retreat, Sandals Emerald Bay on Great Exuma, Bahamas, occupies a sublime, mile-long stretch of beach on Great Exuma, the largest of the 360 islands comprising the Exuma chain of The Bahamas.

Located along the pristine white sand beach and turquoise waters of Great Exuma’s Emerald Bay, the Sandals Emerald Resort Golf Club is a spectacular 18-hole Greg Norman-design. The 7,001-yard, par-72 layout features not one but six “signature” holes that challenge novice and professional golfers alike. Native vegetation dots the course, including sea grapes, silver buttonwood, sand fly bush and cabbage palms. With fairways lining the ocean and prevailing southeastern tradewinds, the Sandals Emerald Reef Golf Club provides a stunning and memorable experience. Five different tee boxes accommodate guests of every skill level.

The course’s first nine holes wind through a mix of seaside dunes and mangrove preserves, while holes 11 through 16 play along the rocky peninsula that offer unparalleled views of the turquoise Emerald Bay. The Sandals Emerald Reef Golf Club also features a practice area and a casual lounge, coined the “Shark Shack” in honor of Norman.

Guests of the resort can opt for beachfront rooms and suites, all of which have furnished terraces or balconies facing Emerald Bay. Guest rooms and suites are decorated in rich, dark woods and rattan offset by pastel walls and sunny artwork. Personal service by the Professional Guild of English Butlers is available to guests in the highest-level suites to accommodate every whim, including arranging sunset dinners on the sand, private cabanas and unpacking luggage.

With Sandals Resorts’ Discovery Dining program, internationally trained chefs create diverse dishes, and Sandals Emerald Bay features seven gourmet dining venues serving a variety of cuisine in elegant settings.

The resort’s spa is famed for its use of organic botanical and indigenous ingredients. Facilities include 16 indoor treatment rooms, six outdoor sanctuaries, hot and cold plunge pools, eucalyptus steam baths and saunas, locker rooms with showers, and fully stocked vanity areas, and a full-service beauty salon.

To complement its white-sand beach, the resort features a host of recreational amenities, including an expansive new water complex, with a freshwater swimming pool as its focal point. Encompassing over half an acre this spectacular pool entices guests with a Jacuzzi, swim-up pool bar and unique fire-pit in the center. Flanking the pool are luxurious cabanas, and Sandals butlers to provide poolside service to all guests.
