How you got into golf:
It started at an early age. My father taught me this great game of golf.

Positions/jobs before your current position/course:
I was the Assistant Pro at three courses before coming to Knob Hill.  Maplewood CC, Suburban CC and Essex Fells CC.   

How you arrived at your current position/course:
It was actually when I was an Assistant at Essex Fells CC.  One of the members there, Ken Fischer, is the owner of Knob Hill and offered me the Head Position at his course.

What you like most about your job:
I love having the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for the game with the membership and the people I teach day to day.

What makes your course special/favorite thing about your course:
Knob Hill GC is the only Mark McCumber designed golf course in the Northeast.  And he built a beauty with Knob Hill.  One of my favorite things about us is that we stay open all year long and that includes keeping the greens open and not having temps.

Favorite Course (other than your own) locally (New Jersey/Eastern, Pa.) and anywhere else in the world:
In New Jersey I would have to say it is Plainfield CC.  That is a true Donald Ross gem.  One course that I fell in love with outside of New Jersey is Teeth of The Dog is Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic.  That is a must visit.

Best golf tip you can give or ever got:
When things are not going well during a round, don’t give into the negative.  Tell yourself the same thing you would tell your friend when things are going bad for them.  “Hang in there, be patient and things will come around”.

Parting Shots:
The game of golf has afforded me the opportunity to know many wonderful people and visit many wonderful places.  No other game can do as much.
