Hard Rock Golf Club Riviera Maya Joins a World-Class Family
Hard Rock Golf Club Riviera Maya, formerly the Golf Club at Playacar, was unveiled this past spring to rave reviews.

“It’s been a great year with Hard Rock Golf Club Riviera Maya,” said Frank Maduro, Vice President of Marketing for All-Inclusive Collection. “Not to mention, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya celebrated its first `birthday’ and has also had an exciting year with live performances from Nick Jonas, Bret Michaels, and many more artists, as well as playing host to Jamie Chung’s bachelorette party and Brook Burke’s family vacation.”

The Hard Rock Golf Club Riviera Maya is the first Hard Rock-branded golf course in Mexico, following the successful launch of the Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay, located at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana. The 18-hole course, built amongst the lush foliage of the Yucatan Peninsula, and clubhouse reflects Hard Rock’s music culture and iconic “vibe” throughout the course and entire golfing experience. Hard Rock Golf Club Riviera Maya includes a special collection of memorabilia adorning the clubhouse, including Eddie Van Halen’s personal golf cart and avid golfer, Alice Cooper’s leather jacket.

In addition to its championship design and stunning surroundings, Hard Rock Golf Club Riviera Maya offers a number of amenities for its members and guests, including a revitalized clubhouse complete with curated music, Hard Rock branded golf carts, a pro shop, caddie house and snack bar. Along with the latest clubs and accessories, the refurbished pro shop carries Callaway, Adidas and PGA Tour gear, including items such as cap clips, ball markers, hats, logoed balls and classic Hard Rock merchandise. The newly rebranded club, just a short 15 minutes away from Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, offers a melding of Hard Rock’s free spirit and the timeless game of golf.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Hard Rock vibe to such a renowned course,” said Maduro. “We will continue to offer unparalleled service, complemented by a memorable experience both on and off the golf course and look forward to creating memories for our members and guests for years to come.”

“Hard Rock’s mission is to provide our fans worldwide with authentic experiences that rock and the acquisition of this golf course further diversifies our brand offering,” said John Galloway, Chief Marketing Officer at Hard Rock International. “We are looking forward to creating a one of a kind experience throughout the year at this premier golf destination.”

The Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf, designed to improve every player’s golf game regardless of experience level, is on the property. In addition to group instruction, the Nicklaus Academy offers private lessons.

As for the Resort, Maduro said, “As service management becomes the new paradigm in the hospitality industry, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya introduced Rock Royalty Level, a concierge level program providing VIP treatment-seeking guests with additional posh amenities and unmatched benefits, to Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, as well as the other three all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel properties.”

From champagne service by the beach to preferential romantic dinner reservations, vacationers at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya now have the opportunity to book their room in the Rock Royalty Level and embrace the rock star experience. In true celebrity fashion, Rock Royalty Level guests are provided with the phone number of an on-call Personal Assistant upon arrival to help orchestrate their stay,

including assistance with reservations on and off property. This program also boasts express luggage delivery, a complimentary 25-minute couples massage, ironing service and complimentary shoeshine, upgraded full-size Rock Spa bath products, aromatherapy and an exclusive pillow menu, in-room spa tub preparations, priority reservations to picks and mix programs, and more. Maduro said most of the Resort’s guests travel from the U.S. and Canada, with a good portion of them coming from Mexico, Latin America, and even Europe.

Located just off the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya offers the ultimate vacation for guests of all ages with both the adults-only and family friendly resort experiences.

With a combined 1,264 ultra-posh and lavishly appointed guestrooms boasting balcony, terrace views or new, expansive sky terrace options with picturesque views, hydro tubs in each room, world-class shopping and endless style, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya is nothing short of the ultimate crowd-pleaser.
