By Tom Landers | Published  04/30/2014 | South Carolina | Unrated
Coming off one of the most severe winters to hit the U.S. in quite some time, most all of us are longing for some warm sun and green grass. Myrtle Beach Golf offers the perfect remedy.

Spring golf season is just cranking up along the Grand Strand, and great deals on some of the top-ranked courses in America are just a click away. Award-winning designs by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Larry Nelson, Robert Trent Jones, and others are available this spring at The Prime Times Signature Collection of courses, managed by National Golf Management Company, offers a collection of 22 Myrtle Beach-area courses, at some of the best rates. And this spring, they have sweetened the deal by including a $100 Rewards card for every golfer in your group when you play four or more rounds.

To make planning your visit even easier, the Prime Times courses are grouped regionally, ranging from the Gateway Collection of courses in the northern Strand, to the Southern Beach Collection along the historic southern shores of Murrells Inlet, Litchfield Beach and Pawleys Island.
While more and more golfers are taking advantage of affordable nonstop flights to Myrtle Beach, the majority still drive their way to the Seaside Golf Capital of the World, making the North Strand their initial point of entry. And for many golfers, there is no need to travel any further south. The Prime Times Gateway Collection includes some of the premier courses in North Myrtle Beach and Brunswick County, NC. Farmstead Golf Links actually straddles the NC-SC state line with its par-6, 18th hole. Other Gateway courses include Meadowlands, Aberdeen, Long Bay Club and River Hills Golf & Country Club.  All are very player-friendly and affordably priced for spring golfers. And all are within close proximity to some of the most popular golfer accommodations, including Hampton Inn at Harbourgate and Brunswick Plantation.

If you would like advice on where to play, go to and click the Reviews tab to go to the “Golf Insider” where you’ll find the latest reviews on all Myrtle Beach area courses, posted by golfers for golfers. If you have questions about where to stay, where to dine, and more, just click the Online Chat button or simply pick up the phone and speak to one of the Prime Time’s golf ambassadors at 866.816.0060.
