A Striking New Spring Apparel Collection from AUR

Showcasing AUR’s proprietary Active and Aware fabrics, the company’s Spring 2014 Collection incorporates the brand’s sophisticated and elevated design aesthetic with its strong sense of golf authenticity. The AUR Spring 2014 Collection includes a full offering of polo shirts, sweaters, thermal tops, shorts, pants, outerwear and accessories for both men and women.

“The AUR Spring 2014 collection is a must have for golfers who want authentic golf apparel with a distinct look and feel,” says designer Brad Franklin.  “AUR was created to celebrate the game of golf and provide all golfers with the confidence to perform and look their best. The Spring 2014 Collection was inspired by the landscape, character and passion of some of the world’s most exciting locations. This created a color palette for Spring 2014 that is unique and intriguing.”

For Spring 2014, the company has introduced a new recycled interlock fabric that is found in some of the firm’s polo shirts. This fabric is part of the AUR Aware family of fabrics. AUR Aware fabrics are constructed using environmentally-friendly yarns. The fabrics offer the “ultimate in comfort and performance as their benefits include moisture wicking, anti-odor and easy care properties.”

Says Franklin, “Additionally, we have introduced all new yarn-dye pique and jersey fabrics to our AUR Active family of fabrics. AUR Active fabrics are produced using the latest in fabric technology. These fabrics offer the ultimate in comfort and performance as their benefits include moisture wicking, fast drying and anti-odor properties.”

New colors from the Spring 2014 Men’s Collection include Neptune Blue, Twist Orange, Nightfall Blue and Corsa Red. New colors from the Spring 2014 Women’s Collection include Fireberry Red, Burnt Coral, Kiss Pink, Bright Cobalt and Spring Green.

“The new Spring 2014 collection is a step forward for the brand as our goal for the collection was to elevate the brand through new and enhanced fabric offerings, a refined design aesthetic, and a thoughtful merchandise assortment,” says Franklin. “We are focused on designed products that have a refined modern aesthetic by utilizing technical fabrics in a more sophisticated form.”

Collection highlights for men include the Hanauma Bay Collection, consisting of colors Neptune Blue, Twist Orange, Nightfall Blue and White, a striking color story with clean and modern design details inspired by the ocean waters off the coast of Oahu, Hawaii. Additional men’s collections include the San Marino Collection, consisting of colors Corsa Red, Fieldstone Grey and White, and the Nordic Light Collection consisting of colors Industry Grey, Citra Yellow, Black and White.

Collection Highlights for women include the Lincoln Road Collection, consisting of colors Burnt Coral, Kiss Pink and White, a fun and feminine color story with a strong sense of elegant design and richness inspired by the personality of South Beach, Miami. Additional women’s collections include the High Line Collection, consisting of colors Fireberry Red, Black and White, and the Calabasas Collection consisting of colors Spring Green, Bright Cobalt, Argento Silver and White.
