Category 5 Rainwear and Yoga for Golfers is THE ORIGINAL
Category 5 Rainwear

Finally, technology applied to a garment that is windproof, waterproof and breathable – it’s simply the best!  If you’re like many golfers, when the weather looks questionable, you pack up a couple extra layers with the outer layer typically being some sort of garment that might also double for exercise wear – what an uncomfortable mistake.  Well, welcome to the future of outerwear!  Heavy, multilayered outerwear is as outdated as a persimmon driver.  Now, a company called CATEGORY 5 is producing outerwear from next-generation single layer ultralight microfibers that produce products that are not water resistant, but completely WATER PROOF!

Garments that are breathable and lightweight are also mandatory when the weather is gray and wet, as sometimes it doesn’t necessarily have to rain to be unpleasant, but when you can stay comfortable and have an unrestricted swing you can play well.

No other garment performs so well:  windproof and lightweight on a clear, breezy day – waterproof and lightweight in the rain.  On a cool day your body temperature is maintained so you stay warm.

Golfers worldwide are now wearing Category 5 outerwear, including hundreds of PGA and LPGA professionals who now wouldn’t play a round without it.  In fact, Cat5 is the Official Outerwear for Adams Golf staff TOUR players on the CHAMPIONS TOUR and they are also the Official Outerwear for the 2005 SOLHEIM CUP Team.

Category 5 garments weight 75% less than Gore Tex®.  A full suit weighs only 11 ounces.  And, since water runs off without being absorbed by the fabric, Category 5 stays as lightweight in the rain as it does on a cool or windy day.

With 12 colors and a variety of sizes and styles, you’ll be sure to find an exact fit.  If you only plan to purchase foul-weather gear once, be sure Category 5 is the choice you make.  Their iron-clad guarantee simply can’t be beat!  If the product ever fails for an reason, they’ll replace it free for as long as you own the product.

Yoga for Golfers is THE ORIGINAL

Judith L. Sener, M.Ed., R.Y.T., a Certified Yoga for Golfers Instructor, was trained directly by Katherine Roberts, the founder of Yoga for Golfers.  Discover the Mind-Body connection to Golf through Yoga!  The program incorporates a series of exercises that slowly, gently, and effectively move your body toward greater strength and flexibility.  Instruction focuses on proper body alignment, brings awareness to your breathing, and enhances winning visualization.

Featured on The Golf Channel, in GOLF Magazine, golfonline.com and numerous other publications, Yoga for Golfers is guaranteed to work for golfers of all ages, handicaps, and fitness levels.  Call Judith to book your event now – she has many types of workshops available for events like Golf Tournaments; Corporate meetings; Group and Private instruction; Country Club events, Golf Schools and Camps; Club and League Meetings and Special Clinics.  She also offers CD’s and DVD’s so don’t delay any further.

Typically, students experience an improved swing rotation which will result with an increase in distance and the stretching and strengthening of golf specific muscles will result in an enhancement of your overall performance and health.  You will develop a highly aware sense of breathing which will allow you to focus, relax and refocus your mind.  We all know that an improved sense of balance can do nothing but help and improve your game with a solid foundation with which to build your stance and swing.  And, most importantly a reduced chance of injury and increased recovery time are critical to this game we love.

Listen, technology has hit a plateau currently with clubs and balls, now we need to focus on something else that will make us better players – OURSELVES!  We know this stuff is important, otherwise we would not be hearing so much about it lately from top golfers and on The Golf Channel!

Jack Nicklaus Using Aerotech’s SteelFiber i95 Shaft and Kangaroo Golf Glove
Jack Nicklaus Using Aerotech’s SteelFiber i95 Shaft

Jack Nicklaus, widely regarded as the greatest golfer of all-time, is using Aerotech’s SteelFiber i95 shaft, the company has proudly announced.

Nicklaus says, “I was looking for a composite shaft that has similar playing characteristics to the Dynamic Gold steel shafts I play in my irons. I found that performance with the SteelFiber shaft. Most people know I won’t put any piece of equipment in my bag unless I have tested it and feel it has the performance characteristics that meet my needs.”

Aerotech’s new SteelFiber is the first shaft design that effectively combines the best of both graphite and steel. SteelFiber’s high-modulus graphite inner core is surrounded by a complex stainless steel-fiber surface layer with 59-plus miles of steel-fiber covering the entire surface of each shaft. The diameter of each micro-thin steel-fiber is approximately 1/10th the diameter of a human hair. The high-density steel surface fiber optimizes the weight without substantially increasing the wall thickness, promoting a more solid feel through impact. In addition, the graphite core dampens vibration, increases clubhead speed and maximizes distance, while the steel-fiber surface layer adds stability and control for pinpoint accuracy. Aerotech manufactures the SteelFiber in Wood, Hybrid and Iron shaft models, ranging in weight from 65 to 95 grams.

Aerotech’s SteelFiber shaft is available through Golfsmith and GolfWorks and as a custom offering at select original equipment manufacturers. The wood shafts retail under $40.00 while the Hybrid and Iron shafts are under $30.00.

Nicklaus owns 73 PGA Tour, 10 Champions Tour and 30 other worldwide victories, including a record 20 major championship titles (six Masters, five PGA Championships, four U.S. Opens, three British Opens and two U.S. Amateurs).

Kangaroo Golf Glove

From the company that brought you the Synca Swing – the personal swing analyzer that allows you to computer groove your swing - comes the next best thing since sliced bread!

A golf glove that actually works just as good wet as it does dry!  Recently, I had a chance to speak with the President of Synca Roo, Mr. Randy Lhowe and he asked a favor of me.  He asked that after I put on the glove that I put my hand under running water in the sink, then go and grab a club and start swinging it to see how the glove performs.  The kangaroo-hide glove actually seemed to have an enhanced feel when wet.  He was right!  Wow, I had to agree that his glove outperforms any other glove I’ve used, wet or dry!  Go to www.synca-swing.com now to check out their swing analyzer product and to order your Synca-Roo golf glove today!
