The Ledges Golf Club

Located in the Pioneer Valley, The Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley, MA is an 18-hole gem that will challenge even the most experienced golfers. Players can enjoy the 6,500-yard layout while taking in the visually tasty views of the surrounding mountain range, natural wetlands, mature forests and abundant wildlife.
The LedgesÕ management prides itself on delivering a private club feel when you visit and their biggest drawing card is the golf course, which was routed through the natural landscape. No two holes are similar on the Howard Maurer-designed track. You will find an eclectic mix of holes at The Ledges, from very short par-threes and par-fours to solid par-fours and par-fives that will tempt the big hitters to risk danger in order to get close to or on the putting surface.
The fourth hole is a classic risk/reward undertaking. ItÕs only 305 yards from the tips but there is water all the way down the left side to the green. Take driver and try for the green or lay a four-iron into the fairway and come in with a short iron.
After a round, check out the clubÕs FrigoÕs Restaurant, considered a local institution, which offers great appetizers, sandwiches and entrees, all while viewing high-def televisions. An open-air covered deck is a great spot that affords spectacular views of the Pioneer Valley and the surrounding mountain range.
